Mauretania Studios is the private Los Angeles studio of composer and musician Arden Danna. Built around a distinctive collection of instruments, vintage and modern equipment, professional monitoring, and extensive production software and sample libraries, the studio provides the creative and technical foundation for Arden’s composition, production, arranging, orchestration, and session work. He is a lifelong pianist, guitarist, and bassist, with technical fluency across multiple DAWs and the equipment/software listed below.
Arden Danna is available for select film, television, and other original composition projects, as well as arranging, orchestration, and production work. Clients hire Danna and the capabilities of Mauretania Studios as part of their project; the studio is a private working space and is not available for independent rental or outside sessions.
Arden works remotely with artists, filmmakers, composers, and other creators—whether contributing individual instrumental or production elements, developing and producing complete compositions from supplied material, or collaborating on co-authored projects.
Projects are commissioned individually, with fees based on the scope and requirements of the work. Please see below for inquiries and selected equipment/software.
Production & Recording
In addition to his work in film and television composition, Arden is an experienced producer with a background spanning pop and a wide range of contemporary styles. Whether developing a song from an initial idea or working with an established arrangement, Arden offers a collaborative approach tailored to each artist and project. Recording and production sessions are available from his Los Angeles studio, while he also accepts remote work.
Composition
Danna also accepts commissions for original music outside of his work in film and television. Commissions may include concert works, music for live performance, custom compositions, and other original projects.
Arranging & Orchestration
With extensive experience in arranging and orchestration for film & television, Danna offers professional arranging and orchestration services for projects of all sizes. From developing existing musical material to creating full orchestral arrangements, each project is approached with careful attention to instrumentation, musical character, and the needs of the ensemble.
